Hacking Wii Backup Disk Channel DVD Read Error (1167)

I need help. I am new and I soft-modded my Wii. I insert a DVD-R with Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands on it as a .wbfs file. I start up the Backup Disk Channel and i get DVD Read Error (1167). What does this error mean? Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix this (if possible)? I saw on other sites that I need to change my IOS and cIOS. What is that and how do I check which version I have? Help is much appreciated.

And then post what it says on the bottom of the screen. From what you said, i wouldn't be surprised if it says "Not a Wii/GC disc" -> you burned in a wrong way, or "Drive too new" -> DVD-Rs are just not possible on your Wii without hardmod/drive change.

Never mind. I found out how to burn Wii games properly, thanks to the power of YouTube tutorials (sometimes, you have to love YouTube). Subject closed.
