That isn't how an exploit works.

The system would need to be able to use the sent exploit and actually execute the code. You'd need to trick the system into using the video feed as code somehow, which as far as I know requires some sort of bug in the official software that can then be 'exploited' to run the 'exploit.'
(It might be possible, but you need more information to really know, and it's unlikely.)

You said you've been "hacking" the Wii U for two months. Not to be mean, but odds are, any idea you could have has been had by the people who've been doing this FOR FOUR AND A HALF YEARS.

Don't get me wrong, new ideas are good, but stop and think before you make a post if you don't wanna get the kind of response you got in this one.

If you chat a system which is hombrewed, can't you hack the app to send an exploit instead of sending video feed? Just a suggestion.
Honestly? Maybe.
That's all we can say.
Chances are someone already tried that, but then again the Wii U homebrew scene is tiny with hardly any interest, so who knows really.
Most of the time, crashes aren't exploitable. And you don't even have a crash right now, so there's really no way of knowing but most likely it isn't exploitable.

It's not that it's impossible to have a civil thread. The problem is this thread was pointless and amounted to nothing more than: "Guys, what if you hacked an app?"
It's possible, it's just members like you that prevent it. If you have nothing good to say than don't say it all. If you think the thread is pointless than remove it and move on. Its not a hard concept.

Not everyone is all knowing like you and can know everything. You should write a book or a blog so that we may learn from your wisdom and invite the other jackasses on this site as guest bloggers. Maybe, just maybe than everyone else can learn enough from you guys and there won't be anymore "pointless threads" and all the other excuses you guys use to act like dicks
