Hacking Which PSTVs are safe to buy?

I'm thinking of buying a PSTV right now, but I don't know if new units have a desirable firmware needed to execute all the cool stuff coming out for them.

Can I get firm confirmation if it's safe to order one?

3.20 i believe. I was just going to post a thread like this but asking if the 3.20 is tough to find.....if so, I think I might know someone who is selling a few of them....but im not sure...youll have to ask him to physically check the PSTV

From what I'm reading, PSVita hacks need to be performed on every reboot, correct?

That is correct. Also i bought a PSTV three weeks ago from amazon and it has 3.20 FW if that is an option for you.
