now i know we cant get the exact date but we could create a estimate (example, 2019)
Why exactly did you bother to create another useless thread of prediction? Youve been told already about these and that questions should go in the noob thread. Again, who knows, it aint gonna be for a few years likely.

lol the 3d's eshop won't close for a very long time since nintendo is treating the 3ds as if it weren't competing with the switch so the eshop won't close until nintendo drops the whole 3ds line

Another useless thread, but oh well... Here's a good answer:

Why does it even matter?

Oh wait, that's answering you with a question, but just think about it, seeing the trends of other systems, it's gonna stay up until at least early 2020 I'd say and even when it's discontinued, CIAngel and FreeShop will still be around to get games, so it doesn't matter in the least!

Easy, nobody knows.

But, a rough guess is once they stop official support for the device, it'll be a year or so. Around the point sales don't make it worth keeping. When will they stop support? They'll probably stop updates within a year, and stop support within a few years.

Tell that to the PSP eshop having been up until late 2016 (don't know if it's still up though at this time). Companies LOVE money, just dropping support isn't enough when they still get money just by keeping the server alive.

Just so you know, switching to a separate server just before the official one gets discontinued will allow it to stay up, plus CIAngel already has it's own server.

The difference being the PSP eshop isn't run by nintendo. Nintendo tends to do things a certain way. We have the DSi eshop, wii eshop, and wii u eshop to set a precedence for how they handle this stuff.
