Hardware What's the lifespan of 3DS?

I'm talking about when it dies literally, not working and so on. Only reason I am asking this is because of that walking/shaking to get the 10 coin. My DSi still works even though the cover looks like it has some yellow grime on it...

Honestly, the battery will die first before the system, assuming you take great care of it (a lot of people say they are while in fact they are abusing it).

it will last till you break it for sure, most things without moving parts do.
might have to replace the battery every 3-7 years.
