last i was paying attention it would detect networks, and give you their id, but they hadn't figured out how to inject.

Nevermind, looks like you got it. I don't know what's compatible, the list is supposed to be very small. Why Net Stumbler can support just about every device out there but aircrack is incompatible with anything that's less than six years old and still available on the market...

If you wanna hack some wifi network use "Backtrack"
But hacking network is illegal if you dont have permission to do so.
Its a federal offense if you get caught.
