Hacking What Does Optimiser Function Do in Diskwriter?

Does anyone know? The option takes 1-2 hours... After using it, nothing seems to have changed.

Nope. Not even rom sizes have changed. I used the option hoping it would do that. Now I just found out the 3ds trimming tools trims it literally in less than a second..
