I'm grateful for my two nieces that are due soon, one in October and one in February. I'm grateful for my sisters and parents. I'm grateful for my supportive boyfriend. I'm grateful to live in a peaceful place. I'm grateful for my job even though I hate my boss with a burning passion. I'm grateful for my cats. I'm grateful for the friendship of my best friend over the last year and a half :-(

This is a nice thread. I think for those that have anger issues or depression, it's common for professionals to tell them to think of 5 things that they're grateful for, and it tends to be a successful endeavor.

I'm grateful for my family, who are more than quirky, but are always very caring.

I'm grateful that the hurricane has dropped back to a catergory 1, and might not do as much damage as previously predicted. Also happy to hear the tornado warning for my area was retracted.

I'm grateful for my cat, Checkers, who lived through a horrible illness, only to make it through so she lives to chew on my hand whenever I stop petting her.

I'm grateful that my dad's retirement money actually came through, after months of worry that it would be garnished.

I'm grateful for this site, and its members, to which I've found a really great calling, as well as solid friends. And I'm grateful to my boyfriend, who manages puts up with all my quirks and ramblings.

Wow that worked pretty well. Took a lot of stress off, from all that hurricane worry.

The internet. Breaking that down, without the internet, I would not have been able to make the money I have online to be able to buy every main series Pokemon game from Gen 3 to 7, physically, with now 1 and 2 being digital (once GS VC comes out). Then in 2015, having the most money I ever saved up, to buy everything to built a PC, which is still going strong 2 years later. I would not have been able to buy a Wii U, a PS4, 7 3DSes so far. I wouldn't be able to pay bills, or connect with certain people that have at one point or another made me genuinely happy. Material things sure, but after high school, with really nothing being done in my life, the internet has at least given me some form of direction, though I won't lie and say it has done this all the time. Without it, I certainly would not have even known half the movies I've watched and enjoyed such as The Room. I could go on about The Room and being grateful for that but I think my quoting and GIFs of it says enough.

I'll be even vaguer on more personal things to be grateful for. My mom, grandmother, and great grandmother, they take care of me, they have taken care of me, I'll never be able to repay them, and I'm very conscious of that. Also, in the distant past, my sisters. We're very much estranged now, but back then, they were just as much as friends to me as the ones I made out in the real world between childhood and my teenage years.

Also, to break it into 5 entities. I'm grateful for the following: Jackie Chan, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Clint Eastwood, and porn. I could go more into them, especially porn because I don't mean what you see on the pro-side, and amateur is too vague as well, but again I won't do that.

Well, think about myself (thanks for the topic that gave me this idea)I just can't find anything that I'm grateful for...

I've trained at gym for years and I have nearly perfect health and I am not grateful for it;

I'm ungrateful that I go to job everydays and I've never worried about that I could run out of money

I'm ungrateful that I don't smoke, I don't drink or use drugs.

I was always been a consol player and I'm able to self build a high end gaming pc through just one day of YouTube searching but I'm still not grateful even about it...

I'm living everydays at same way, wakeup at morning, go to work, take off, go home and eat, some hours of gaming on pc then sleep, nothing really excits me and life is boring as hell...

I'm on holidays this week which gives me an opportunity to catch up on assignments, study for an upcoming exam and game.

This is an opportunity to get my shit back together without having a super stressful week.
