Hacking WD Blue 500GB for the PS3...

I'm set on buying it, I just need to confirm with any owners if wdidle effectively stops all stuttering/spindown (drive will be used for my backups)

I replace my 160GB with that one and it work perfectly for my backup and other stuff ( music, video, ... )

I didn't got any problem since i installed it. No in game lag.

Make sure it's backwards compatible with SATA I speed or you'll experience stuttering.

I have installed a WD Blue 500gb hdd and the ps3 just work fine with it....
No problems at all
