Surprising absolutely no one, here is Ubisoft with the official announcement of Watch_Dogs 2. Check out the trailer and press release below

LONDON, UK — June 8, 2016 — Today, Ubisoft® announced that Watch Dogs® 2, the newest installment in the blockbuster WATCH_DOGS franchise, will be available worldwide on November 15 for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC.

WATCH_DOGS 2 is the product of over two years of intensive development by the original creative team behind the Watch Dogs brand. The topics of data security and privacy as well as and hacking are more current than ever in today’s society, and the Watch Dogs brand has been exploring these themes ever since the release of the first opus in 2014. WATCH_DOGS 2 offers a fictional environment linked to challenges players can relate to, while offering high-quality entertainment as they explore the San Francisco Bay Area with Marcus Holloway.

Players enter a massive and dynamic open world environment set in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is the latest city to adopt ctOS 2.0, an advanced operating system networking the city infrastructure, and in the wrong hands, ctOS 2.0 can be used to invasively control and manipulate everyday citizens.

Players will explore the birthplace of the tech revolution as Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker who has fallen victim to ctOS 2.0’s predictive algorithms and is accused of a crime he did not commit. In Marcus’ quest to shut down ctOS 2.0 for good, hacking is the ultimate weapon, and players can not only hack into the city’s infrastructure but also every person and any connected device they possess to trigger unpredictable chains of events. With the ability to take control of drones, cars, cranes, security robots, and much more at their disposal, players can choose whether to use stealth hacking to complete missions without killing a single enemy or go guns blazing for a more ferocious approach. In this vast open world, players can hack their way through traffic while engaging in dangerous car chases through the winding streets of San Francisco, traverse the rooftops of the vibrant neighborhoods of Oakland, and infiltrate the offices of cutting-edge companies in Silicon Valley.

“Our creative team is working hard to deliver an outstanding WATCH_DOGS experience,” said Dominic Guay, senior producer, Ubisoft Montreal. “In WATCH_DOGS 2, we’re excited to give players a captivating storyline with engaging characters that offers deeper, more meaningful hacking options, a greater variety of gadgets and weapons, and a brand new seamless multiplayer experience that will appeal to fans of the original WATCH_DOGS as well as players new to the brand.”

I am going to assume Ubisoft is going to pull a Ubisoft. It's going to look better, but they are going to rush the game again and it's just going to be a clone of the first one with minor improvements.

the question is will they fix all the bugs on the first on the Pc realease before the second?
Last time i checked it was requiring more than crysis and only half of FPS and quality

That name needs to be more interesting. But I did like the look of the trailer somewhat, it looked like a nice atmosphere for a game. But we'll just have to wait and see if it's like the first one or not.

Good that this game got a followup, the first game had some good ideas but it didnt really build on them in a way we were all hoping. That CAN be fixed in the sequel so im semi-hyped for this. Also dont anyone get used to the graphics on this trailer, they wont look anywhere near this level in the final game coz y'know, Ubisoft.

Yeah, Watch_Dogs was promising but a little disappointing from what I've heard/seen. Part of that was a ridiculous amount of hype it could never live up to, but still. Considering what happened to Assassin's Creed (The first game was okay but not amazing, the second was much, much better), this could be good. Of course, we'll have to see what actually happens, but I'm interested to see what they'll do with this.

I said at the end of the review we did that I would be there for Watch Dogs 2 -- they had the core of something very good there but it needed an awful lot of refinement and twiddling, which when it was staring down a new GTA and all that had since sprung up did not put it in the best position. Those videos have not made me a liar yet, though I sense I might be reading a bit too much into what was probably a lot of cutscene/CGI and a few key things (they day/night cycle and possibly living city stuff).

Also it seems I am too immature and was giggling at the soundtrack to the first.

Well... the first game had a lot of unfulfilled potential, maybe this one will be more enjoyable. The main character looks more of an anti-hero this time, the story might be interesting.
Once again the premise seems to have potential, here's hoping it will be good.
I personally think Watch_Dogs was way too much GTA-esque. The main weapon of the protagonist should be their hacking, and it should have been much, much harder to go in guns blazing.

Loved the first one in all its glory, so I'm definitely ready for this one.

But why the heck are these trailers releasing before E3? Why aren't they being saved for the event?
