the switch is based of bsd so i guess what ever unix exectables are but by that logic you can run switch games on a mac soooooooooo

BSD isn't UNIX, it's UNIX-like (just like every other OS that's not Windows). The only OS that's actually accepted as true UNIX is macOS (only for technical reasons). Also, by your logic, just because the network stack comes from BSD the entire system is therefore BSD.

The Gamecube’s codename is Dolphin. Wii is basically a Gamecube on steroids. Both use .dol.

The Wii U product code is WUP. While .rpx is the executable format, there is also a WUP title installer.

Since the product code of the Switch is HAC, maybe *.hac?
Makes sense because: GCN is DOL-001, Wii U is WUP-001(or 101 for black), NES is NES-001(101 for TL) etc.
But it doesn't apply to all consoles though.
