Hacking Vwii and sd card adapter

I am tired of looking everywhere I live and it seems none sells 2GB SD or 1GB SD cards.

But I do have one micro sd from sandisk with 2GB and some adapters to use.

Can I try it? Will it work? Am I going to "break" anything?

I have not used actual full sized SD cards for years. Basics is that standards in full sized, Mini and Micro SD cards are the exact same; Just the physical size of the media itself is different and then they have adapters to "upsize" it for devices and readers. Only difference is the lock on "normal" SD cards.

It is funny to say they are "Normal" SD cards since these days I am fairly sure MicroSD cards are the overwhelming majority.
