Hi all, I have a friend who has a hacked Vita, currently sat on 3.60 Henkaku -6. He's asked me if it's possible to use his vita as a ps4 controller, not for remote play, but for a full proper controller.

Reason being, his second DS4 controller broke.

I wanted to ask, is this possible, and if so, how? I've search abit, but can't really find all that much information, since I'm fairly new to the Vita scene, and only really to help this one guy.

Anyway, thanks for any replies, it's much appreciated!

Edit: For those who might need it!
For those in the future who might need to knowledge, here's what I did:

1)Backup up the memory card to retain saves.
2)Used Right Trigger, PSButton and Power held for a while.
3)Options appeared, use Restore System. That deactivates it the way we needed.
4)Once set up with the PSN account we wanted, use the browser to set up Henkaku.
5)Make sure Spoofing is on the latest version (as of now, 3.65)
6)Go to PS4 Link, we get through using the spoofing and our personally owned PSN account.
7)Hit skip to ignore Internet remote play, instead using Local.
8)On our ps4, go to settings, remote play, direct connect, add device.
9)On our PSVita, go add the code on our tv for the PS4.
10)Now it'll connect fairly quickly and your done.

Remote Play 2 player.:

1)With remote play now active, start whatever game you want to play multi player with using our vita.
2)Go to the lobby, turn on controller 2, add player 2 to the game.
3)Start match. And done!

Our only downside is that the vita screen shows both players rather than just the controllers part of the screen, that's why we just use it as a controller.

For a little clarification: We wish to use the Vita as a second controller on the tv with the ps4 to play 2 player Zombies in CoD. Can this be done? Both players on the screen, just one using DS4 and One using Vita.

Search for VitaStick homebrew. It'll make your Vita into a fully functional USB-gamepad, HID, so you may give it a shot with PS4.

Doesn't seem to work. Oh well. Hopefully someone has a full answer.

In another question, because it might be an easier route, is there anything like EmuNand for the Vita? Boot into Emunand, update, use as a controller......

Remote play technically makes the Vita act as a second controller. Otherwise there's no other way to do it.

And no, there's no Emunand or anything.
This is what we ended up doing in the end. Was a pain to figure out though.
