Hacking V1.0.0

Guys, I bought a 2nd switch for the sole purpose of keeping it for when the hack/homebrew comes in a year or two.

It is currently on the very 1st version 1.0.0.

I need your advice if i should update to 3.0.0 via cartridge firmware update (if there is any and does it really update offline mode?).

dont update if it is ur second switch.
just play FLOG / GOLF all the time until you can homebrew it
just buy a 3.0.0 game card and update it when the time comes.

Keep it as low as possible. Worst case you can update to other firmware in the future if it isn't supported for some reason

Well I really wont update it but just in case, do you know any game/s that have the 3.0.0? I googled it and i found only splatoon with 2.2 or 2.3.

Pokken DX or Fire Emblem Warriors might have 3.0.0. Unsure, as I had 3.0.2 before playing Pokken.

For the heck of it, i will purchase retail copies of both splatoon 2 and pokken DX if in any case from 1.0.0 i need to be on 2.3 or on 3.0.0. The game can then be temporarily used by the other switch which is on 3.0.2, gonna let my kids take turns playing splatoon
