Hacking USBLoader GX and Rock Band 2 instruments

I've been trying to make this work but nothing is working. I've tried looking at some other threads but nothing has really helped. I am running the latest version of USBLoader GX and cIos 13b and have installed the latest Hermes cIos ( 222/223 ) I read in a thread that all you have to do is go to the games config in usb loader and make it load from 222/223 but that doesn't seem to be working. The game starts up and whenever I try to sync the little usb hub thing to the instruments, it turns off. Has anyone gotten this to work yet? Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem when Rock Band first came out. I live in the UK and I imported it from the US but the instruments just wouldn't sync. I d/l the pal version and it synched straight away.

or you could try wiifrii to change region.

That's weird. I bought the ntsc version and I have an ntsc Wii.
