I had this working correctly a month or two ago, but now when i try to use wii backup manager to put games on a usb or hdd to play them the games do not load. :/ it can see the HDD and shows that only .3gb is free, but does not show the games that are on the usb. Any help would be appreciated thank you...

USBLoaders don't see the game, or Wii backup manager doesn't see them?
I guess the manager see all the games correctly.
Did you try different loaders?
Did you try to reset your loader's settings? <- I'm pretty sure it's just a setting issue.
I'll suppose you are using USBLoaderGX.
it's either a filter option (favorite, parental control or category option which prevent listing some/all of the games), or a source issue (go to 4th icon in the top menu and enable the game type : Wii, gamecube, channels from NAND, channels from emuNAND).
