Hacking USB Loader GX vWii gets kicked back to HBM

I have all the cIOS installed I have a WD 1TB HDD NTFS and imported games using Wii Backup Manager Every time I select a game it throws me back into the Homebrew Menu PLZ HELP I looked on Google and all the threads are dead!

Please post which revision of GX you have and a SysCheck.

The loader source was moved from Google Code last year well ahead of the shutdown.

That's the latest version and your SysCheck looks fine. Is it generating a stack dump or just a straight reboot? It could be an issue with the drive you have your games on, I guess.

when i hit start game it goes to black for 1sec and loads homebrew menu. What could be wrong with the drive?

Dunno. I generally use FAT32 for everything Wii. Does USB Loader GX say it's using IOS249 on the credits screen?

yes i'm formatting to fat32 and transferring now. I could have done thgis sooner but I had other things i didnt want to bother with backing up again but i went and did it. NTFS should be noted as only partially supported.

Other people use it so it should work, but FAT32 has the most robust support as far as Wii homebrew is concerned as far as I know.

I use NTFS, because for WBFS games more than 4GiB. Never had a problem really.

If you're storing them as WBFS files you might as well split them and use FAT32. The only advantage in using NTFS is >4GB files.

Nah, I already have it formatted to NTFS, only used for USB Loader GX games, and it works great so I'm not going to backup everything, reformat, and copy everything back. Don't fix what ain't broke

Since I don't have any problems, there's absolutely no point in converting to FAT32.

Wiiflow, USB Loader GX and CFG USB Loader all use the exact same filesystem libraries and all use your installed IOSes so they all have the same hardware and software compatibility. Use whichever you wish.

Spiderman 3 and SD both lag and stutter on gx but this issue is not on wiiflow so idk you may be wrong.

Perhaps he is using differen't cIOS revisions for each loader, maybe 222 for Wii Flow and 249 for GX, so yeah.
