I've been using a 64gb usb flash drive with no problems, but i switched to a 1tb hdd and now usb loader gx freezes on initializing usb device. I found a workaround by unplugging the hdd before launching usbloadergx and it will say waiting on hdd, then i plug it in and it loads no problem. however every time i change a game i have to do it all again (unplug, launch, plug). has anybody run into this problem? any ideas?

I have had this problem when I was using a Seagate Freeagent 320gb. I recently switched to a different 1Tb hard drive (I don't remember the brand), and the problem went away.

I think some hard drives 'go to sleep' if you leave your Wii on standby (yellow LED) and are unable to be woken up when you start the Wii up again. There may be a way to disable sleep mode (if that's what it is). Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Unfortunately, I never found a solution other than changing hard drives - but you are not alone! :)

I like the L angle connectors which add more force to it I guess which defeats the point

i only buy new ones when theres a new standard and I have gear that uses it. Otherwise my cables seem to last forever.

@SylverReZ Yup. Been a longtime fan of Ween. Not a mega-fan by any means but I'm pretty familiar with most of their tunes.

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit
