Would it be possible to use a USB flash drive on an Xbox 360 that doesn't have an internal drive?
It's one of the non-slim ones. Also, how would the drive behave?

Depends on the drive, but yes any drive over 1GB can be used and can be formatted up to 32GB.

Yes it would. When you insert it just go to your system settings and you can format it to work with the Xbox 360.

It'll act as a large Memory Unit.
Allowing you to save games and download + store Avatar/DLC/XBLA games

It won't act as an harddrive.
The harddrive also stores the Xbox 1 partition and with emulator files etc.
So you can't play Xbox 1 games on a 360 formatted USB drive.
