Hacking US region WiiWare on JP Wii?

I have some WiiWare WADs and a Japanese modded Wii. Is it possible to install these and run them on the main Nand?

If not, I have a US region Neek2o EmuNand installed. Is that better? If so, is there a trick to installing WADs on the EmuNand?

I haven't tried. Everything I've read says ABSOLUTELY use only WADs from your region. Is there any danger to installing a different region WAD?

Nope. To run them on the system NAND you will need Priiloader though.

Enable region free channels (or region free everything) in Priiloader hacks. That's it.

Whoa, the Wii internal storage fills up almost instantly! Just install four or five games and it insists you erase something! What a design flaw!
