Yes, but it's not recommended to update to 5.5.2. if something goes wrong with CBHC, you'll lose homebrew access. If you have to update, I recommend manually updating all but the browser.

Here's the new (easier) guide from before the website was removed. It has been slightly altered by me:

    Is this brick free?
Will there be maybe a video guide?

it's not brick free, it's still dangerous but doable if you follow the guide and use the correct tools. don't just assume you already have the needed homebrew, the linked one are different and specific, use the provided ones.
If you don't install the OS last, you'll probably brick depending on which changes you did before that, as it freeze and you need to restart the console. restarting with different system file version can be an issue, that's why you need to be sure you update all your other system files before updating the OS.
You should also be sure all your files on SD card are good and not corrupted or incomplete. I don't know if titledownloader does a checksum check. Maybe providing a sfv file to check all crc could be useful.

Video guides are bad, you should not follow them. They can't be updated.
this thread's guide has been updated 3 time already, the video would be bad to follow in few days. the hacking scene is evolving, hacking methods are evolving, sticking with old guide can be (is) dangerous.
Just read and reread until you understand what you have to do.

Out of curiosity, which system version are you currently on?

I added the list of game with 5.5.1 update on disc.
I used the list provided on post #90, if there are other games let me know and I'll add them to the first post.

I also added additional information to understand what is required and what that guide will do.

As long as you follow the guide exactly, there is minimal risk involved in updating from 5.3.2 to 5.5.1.

Actually, the guide provide the files to update to 5.5.2, but keep the browser version from 5.5.1
I added a warning that after updating you still need to keep a filtering method (DNS, proxy, router, etc.) or else your browser will update itself, even if your console is already on 5.5.2

Hi, could anyone help with this java issue?

    Code:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.entities.fst.FST.parseFST(FST.java:42)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoader.loadNusTitle(NUSTitleLoader.java:59)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoaderRemote.loadNusTitle(NUSTitleLoaderRemote.java:7)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoaderRemote.loadNUSTitle(NUSTitleLoaderRemote.java:33)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoaderRemote.loadNUSTitle(NUSTitleLoaderRemote.java:18)
            at de.mas.wiiu.titledownloader.titledownloader.Starter.main(Starter.java:100)
I can't seem to get the app to work...

Do you have common.key in the directory?

I have the common.key in the folder along with the list.txt, I have java with the latest version (1.8) with unlimited strength for key length issue. It just doesn't seem to work... I haven't tried to reinstall yet, I noticed that only the command prompt works, the gui for jnus.jar won't work either...

I tried getting the files with UNWIZ and jnus, then installing from HBL, but i get an error to check if the installation files are complete...

    So much to fix! :/

I can replicate this exact error by removing the common.key file, so forgive my pun, but that's probably the key to fixing your problem.

    These are my files :
    upload_2017-8-8_17-14-3.png
This is the result of the java command :

    Code:
    Commonkey was set to:
    XXX
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.entities.fst.FST.parseFST(FST.java:42)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoader.loadNusTitle(NUSTitleLoader.java:59)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoaderRemote.loadNusTitle(NUSTitleLoaderRemote.java:7)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoaderRemote.loadNUSTitle(NUSTitleLoaderRemote.java:33)
            at de.mas.wiiu.jnus.NUSTitleLoaderRemote.loadNUSTitle(NUSTitleLoaderRemote.java:18)
            at de.mas.wiiu.titledownloader.titledownloader.Starter.main(Starter.java:100)
I'm sure that the common key I use is correct...

Is the common key in your command actually XXX, or are you just censoring it?
