PS1/2 Updating OPL

I'm currently still using OPL 0.8 and want to update to 0.9.2. What's the best way to go about this? Just replacing the .ELF file seems too easy. I only want to make sure my games show up and don't mind resetting the settings. The reason I'm looking to upgrade is I have never been able to get Gran Turismo 4 to load up. I can get the copyright splash screen then nothing. Thanks for the help!

It really is that easy. Stick the new OPL on a USB and override the .ELF on your memory card.
