Hacking update old clone card R4i GOLD V2.0 using akaio updated to 3ds 4.3

just thought i would post i updated my old card from (R4ids.com )
R4i gold V2.0 using the latest acekard update it boots up into pippa funnel
supports 3ds 4.3 as per acekard website. only thing a bit annoying is it takes
the card about 6-7 seconds to load to menu after that all runs as normal.

only question i have is even after flashing the cart to the official acekard firmware
i still have to use the old hacked / modified kernel akaio 1.8.6a if i load the 1.9.0
it still detects a clone how does it detect the clone , even though the kart will accept
the official firmware update and run fine.

IIRC that was a one-off authorized clone and they were given a specific build of AKAIO to use until they developed their own software...

Obviously they didn't.

actually sorta i guess they did develope their own software because they came out with a new cart and it has tons of updates .R4I GOLD PLUS supports 3DS 4.5.0-10
i have not tried this new cart , but they did make a new one i wonder if it it is any good. by the look of the updates it has some decent support.
