I originally could not find anything on how to setup OoT3DHax. My web search skills maybe crap, or I'm just looking in the wrong places?? ....anyways ...I hope this will be useful to someone.



1. Download the HBL Starter pack.

2. Extract the starter.zip and copy the contents of the starter folder to the root of your SD Card.

3. Put the SD card back in to your 3DS, and power on your 3DS ready to launch browserhax

4. Either load the Web Browser (New 3DS) and enter the exploit URL (from the Link below)…or for O3DS just scan the QR code.

5. This will launch the HBL, next load sploit_installer-oot3dhax from the menu.

6. Press A to continue.

7. Select your Save Slot and Press A.

8. Press A to continue.

9. Select your firmware by using the D Pad and then press A to install.

10. Power off the console and back on, and load OoT.

11. Load the Save and once the save loads press A to launch HBL.

I've set up oothax myself so i think i remember that you also need to clear the oot save before using the installer. Is this correct?

yeah, otherwise you error out when trying to download the payload with oothax installer.
