Asia also mentioned RAM and that your system needs to be x64. I think it won't build unless you have the folders with the files inside like RomFS and such. I don't think it builds from just RomFS.bin and those files. Other than that, I have no idea.

I think you're missing bunch of files. When you click on the setupUS.exe, it installs bunch of files into a folder in Program Files. I think you need to copy HackingToolkit3DS.exe into that. I just copied the folder it created into a more convenient location and added the HackingToolkit3DS.exe into that. Basically you're missing all the support files that make it work.
Okay I copied everything in the installed folder to the other one still nothing. I can extract everything fine so why doesn't rebuilding work? Anyone have an older version?
It works building CIA. I never had success with 3ds, but since I don't have Gatway or Sky, I don't really care. You should have about 20 files for the program in your directory.
Nevermind. I got it working. It just takes 4ever to get to makerom.exe so you don't see the output cia for a long while.
im having the same problem that you were before. i moved the hackingtool.exe to the program files folder and i dont know where to find the output cia

This is for HackingToolkit3DS.exe, like that it can be accessed from anywhere in your PC.
Leave the ProgramFiles folder, you don't have anything to do in it/with it.

I know people have been patching Pokemon games forever, but how can I use the information in this guide to patch Hyrule Warriors Legends with its update files? I do not want to make modifications (not enough research in GT1 texture files) but I would like to rebuild it into one 3DS file with all updates included. How can I go about this, I have all files extracted already. Thank you!
I feel like a dumbass but nothing happens when I try extracting a CXI file. What am I doing wrong? It takes no time at all to do anything but no output. Help?
Dit dosen't work for me.. the extraction of my decrypted CIA works, I edit the files, and when I repack it it seems to work, but with some time my screen freeze and I can't do anything, my computer litteraly crash.. and if I wait my computer make a bluescreen.. Help please..
