Do you hear a buzz when the console crashes?
No, I don't think so. Sounded more like the disk was spinning and then stopped when the screen got black.
Can you access the VC Menu by touching the screen or pressing ZR? I tried to inject BS F-Zero 2 and I got a black screen but I could still exit out of the game with the HOME Menu.
Home button works! But that's it.
Then that means that the Wii U console didn't crash.
So my problem is probably with the injection of the rom? Or could it be the rom itself? Feels like I should be able to access the emulator menu if it was a rom error.
I only injected two SNES games, and none of them worked, but I was able to inject an NES game and several N64, GBA and NDS games without issues.
Well it's a GBC game ported to GBA using Goomba Color that I'm trying to inject. But after looking around multiple people have been able to inject goomba games but I can't really find a good guide on how to do it that way so I grabbed my pre-fixed roms that I have used for my GBA SP Flash card. The process could be different but I can't see why it should matter.
Try building new GoombaColor ROMs.
I'll try that tomorrow when I have more time! If that doesn't work I'm gonna get another rombase. I'll report back with the results
BTW, what rombase did you use?
Minish Cap, EUR version
I use the same base and all my games work perfectly.
Hmm it must be a rom issue. I tried injecting Worms World Party into the same base using my already made images and ID's and it worked. I'll mess around some more tomorrow!
I found GIMP really confusing so I took the liberty to convert the Boot image templates to Paint.net format instead so you no longer need Gimp. A template for the icon is also included.
Edit: I'm an idiot. Paint.net can not handle editable text....
I finally got it working! The problem was with the file size. It needs to be exactly 4mb before injecting for it to work.
I've created an auto padder if you or anyone else in the future needs it. Just drag and drop the rom onto the Pad.bat file to fix it.
Has anyone got RetroInject? Can't find it anywhere.
I've been looking for retroinject.exe but can't find it is the only thing i'm missing , i google it but had no luck
I've a problem a lot of people get :
I tried deleting 9, deleting -z9, ans you guessed it doesn't work, so what now ?
I Tested The Smurfs (SNES), & The Smurfs - Travel the World (SNES) on Loadiine GX2 & They Worked.
