    Hello world!

Welcome to the very first edition of the new column Temp'n which showcases the various talents of members of the GBAtemp community. Let's take a little of our time and appreciate the effort they put in their individual work.

Now let's get this show on the road!

    Disclaimer

    WotS-1.png

You might've come across this one already but if you haven't, War of The Shadows is an indie RPG à la WoW being brewed by those local tempers mentionned above. It will be released for PC and if you want to participate, there are still some jobs available. It's still a WIP kept under heavy wraps. What can be said is that it is as ambitious as it sounds. Keep an eye out for that one!

    • "Just a regular guy who loves games and im just trying to fanmade and do longplay my fav games in gba etc..." - @SteelLord
If you love video games as much as he does, then check out the following videos he made:

    Fanmade video for Altered Beast:

Longplay for Planet of Apes GBA:

And a music video he made with cutscenes:

    • MediCat DVD: A Multiboot Linux DVD by @Jayro
    MediCat DVD.png
Another one that you might have come across on GBAtemp. MediCat DVD is a bootable DVD for PC repair. What's so special about it? Well, it's free, works on Intel Mac and is made by a fellow GBAtemper! Jayro releases an updated version every 6 months with new artwork, features, apps, and closely follows the Lubuntu release cycle. The next version v10.23.2015 lands on October 23rd.

    • Tool Assisted Mario Speedrun by @Sasori
Mario saves Princess Peach in less than 6 minutes! Check it out in the speedrun below:

@shadow1w2 is sharing with you a 3DS theme he made using Inchworm Animator from the DSi eshop. He's contemplating about putting a gaming shelf in the background or changing the fish aquarium to a bowl or something game-like but of feline interest. Music will also be added later on. It's his first example and he's open to ideas and criticism. He won't just stop here as he plans to do a collection of at least ten! Let's all wish his all the best! Looking forward to your future themes!

    • Nayuta no Kiseki - English Translation by @flame1234
GBAtemper @flame1234 presents you his completed english translation of Nayuta no Kiseki, which is an action-RPG for the PSP. It started as a fan request from @GHANMI and we now have a fully playable english fanlation. Proof of what dedicated fans are capable of!

Check out the project's image gallery here.

    Spoiler Ahead

Well Tempers, that's about it for Temp'n #1. I hope you've enjoyed the projects of our fellow Tempers as much as I did and appreciated their various talents. If you want yours featured in the next issue, send me a PM entitled 'Temp'n' about your project or check out my signature!

Have a great weekend and get Temp'n!

This kind of thing is a really good idea - it'll go a long way in letting Tempers get to know each other, see each other's work and create a more closely-knit community. Way the go, Prans! :D

So much goodness comes from this community ...and it's nice to be reminded that there's stuff going on elsewhere other than the 3ds threads ;)

Jayro's Medicat has gotten me out of a couple PC issues, I ended up liking it so much I always have a copy on a flash drive whenever someone needs help with their PCs.

I used to play that on an old DOS machine back when.
Could say it slightly inspired it though I hope to shade in the graphics a lot more once I get everything down.

Now I kinda want to make an Alley Cat theme based off the DOS version for fun, should be easy to grab the sounds xD
I'll have to look up the Atari 800XL version though.

Edit: Never knew about the Atari version, it looks a ton better. Perhaps sounds a bit better.
Gonna have to replay that version now.
