BRUH! You're bringing one of my all time favorite games to the DS! You, sir, are a god!
This blew my mind.... Holy..... Crap..... Please keep up the amazing work @Fiachra!
Can someone post a patched us converted Rom over at that iso site my PC is dead for at least a month till I get parts shipped from china
It's just an early model import of Pianta Village, nothing special compared to what the final version will be like.
The last I saw it was at Bianco hills and that's all that had really been ported I think. Great work to the person working on this I look forward to your future release hope you don't abandoned this
Looking forward to this!
cool I really like the way this looking
Feel like I'm reviving a dead thread here, but is this project dead or nah?
I think this project is dead
Unless something happened to Fiachra it's not dead. It's a big project, a lot of things need to be worked out to make the game run properly on the DS and ASM on a game with little to no proper documentation asides what Fiachra himself has done isn't easy.
Guy also has a busy life, we all do sometimes. Just be patient.
I hope the project isn't dead
It's as dead as my sex life.
Good to know. I really don't care how long a project takes, just like to see signs of life here and there. Like "hi guys im not dead nor is the project. Bye" Then again, no fan dev/translator/modder etc is under obligation to the community.
It's looking unlikely that I'll ever finish this so I have decided to release the source code and assets for importing F.L.U.D.D. into SM64DS. You are free to make use of this code and its assets in a ROM hack of your own as long as you give credit for anything used.
The code is available at the following Github repo.: https://github.com/Fiachra1993/SuperMarioSunshine64DS
Thanks for releasing the source code. I can't do anything with it, but the game has potential to be really good. I hope someone capable takes interest and finishes the project.
Holy shit.This looks really nice!!
EDIT: Now I saw the year this is from, lol.I hope this isn't dead.
To clarify, it's not definitely dead, I may well complete it or a scaled-back version but I can't commit to it which is why 1: I've released the F.L.U.D.D. code so that there's enough for someone interested to make a decent hack out of this in the meantime and 2: I've not released more than the F.L.U.D.D. code and assets.
Thanks for telling us and for the FLUDD code, if you feel to comes to the point where it is definitely dead would you be willing to release your progress so far so that users could either play what you've done so far or contribute to finishing it themselves?
Please continue this and possibly release all assets to the romhack to help the sm64 romhack community.
