I just called reseller and told him to look up for similar number like you said (2017/1 for example) and he said there is not such numbers on the sticker..can you explain where is that number located..or can you picture that number so i can explain reseller..thanksI just checked my PS4 Pro box, there’s a date like 2017/01 on a sticker of the barcode, and it came with 3.70. Maybe checking the date on the box would help? (If you pick them up from the store.)

if you see on that video on 05:30 when he lift cover, there is nothing..are you saying about that cover?Ahhh, you just reminded me I got things mixed up. (Got an original, a slim and 2 Pros.)
The date is on the sticker of the barcode for Korea/Taiwan version. Japan only labeled them J1 for all boxes (at least for 2000/7000 models), afaik you can’t get the date without void your warranty. (It’s inside the plastic cover of the machine.) EU use date codes and I’m not sure about the US.

it's a shame that we can't find the way to see when ps4 pro was manufactered (in my country there are not many ps4 pro bundles, only for destiny 2 and fifa 18, and those are newer consoles)
Would anyone know what firmware the gold 1 TB system is on?
Never heard of it, but if that is what the system says then I'll add it to the list.Has anyone heard of firmware 3.51? I received the Uncharted 4 bundle and it is on System Software 3.51. I did a Google search and the only other place I see firmware 3.51 mentioned is a thread on PSXHAX.
Region - Firmware - Manufactured - Retailer - Date Purchased - Bundle(?). . . . - Serial
NA . . - 3.51 . . - June 2016. . - Amazon . - 10/21/17 . . . - Uncharted 4 Slim - MC71809XXXX
OK, well the person who has a gold 1tb sent me this bar code.. Which I find fishy because isn't it supposed to say gold and 1tb not great 50gb?It varies. Here we have gold/sliver (no bundle) ones just like any normal jet black ones with different manufacture dates. And Nioh bundle (gold) also got different batches. Like said before, unless your region got dates info on the box, you can't really tell. (And the date is not guarantee < 4.05.)
Im wondering if its worth the trouble buying an older ps4, I see a bunch of older bundles in stores around me.

Yeah right, like if it's a gold system shouldn't it say gold and 1tb. That's what I get for using offer up.If that’s a real original grey, I’d purchase it just for collection lol. Original grey is the PS 20rh anniversary edition, which is rare in where I’m from nowadays. But I doubt it’s real if he sold it as a normal gold slim. (BTW the machine is not a slim, it’s the original/fat PS4.)
