Hardware Streetpass Relay help

Good afternoon all,

I'm currently trying to setup the steetpass home relay point however I've become stuck.


After speaking to Darknight he has asvised me that I may need a new USB wireless dongle. However I would need one that is compatible with Windows 8.1 and also doesn't disconnect when changing MAC addresses.

I am hoping someone would be able to advise me on a dongle to buy which will definitely work for me.

I was looking at something like this

But not sure if this will work or not. Please can someone help?

How much are you intending to spend to get homepass working?

Because SpillPassPi is the easiest method to get homepass working but it requires a raspberry pi.
