ScummVM doesn't need AHBPROT at all, and it only needs the DVD video flag if you load games from a DVD.

Point & Click Adventures
ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!

Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft's Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution's Beneath A Steel Sky and Broken Sword I & II; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep's Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision's Gobliiins; Westwood Studios' The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts' SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more.

if this is your fail attempt to tell him it needs AHBPROT then you fail.
the will give the loaded app -BOTH AHBPROT AND THE DVD ACCESS-. it doesn't need ahbprot

look gosh darn it.
ive tried making a forwarder that used ios58 and loaded boot.ELF.
the forwarder crashed.

I spoke to Wilsoff recently and he said -

quote: Hmm... I've just been looking at the changelog for ScummVM... It appears that it's been updated for the new USB2.0/AHBROT dealio.

I guess the forwarder doesn't like it and will need to be updated too. I don't know how to do that so it'll be a case of waiting and seeing if anyone codes a forwarder that'll work with the latest build.

so what youre truly saying is...WILSOFF is wrong as well right?

if you think you know WHAT scummvm needs to run, could you be so kind as to make a working forwarder please?
i dare you to launch scummvmwii without AHBPROT.
thank you

I like electronics that use detachable cables, that way if the cable breaks you can just swap in a new one instead of replacing the whole unit

the L hdmi cables work great on my tv and receiver. so much less stress on the ports using them than regular cables. in that instance anyway.
