Hi guys, I decided to put up a thread for my homebrew bountry entry:

ÂÂÂÂMigrated code to latest DKP toolchain
ÂÂÂÂCPU controlled demo(wait 20 seconds in the main menu to activate)
ÂÂÂÂAutoBombs "pick your poison" version.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ* When you use autobomb, you won't have bomb powerups at the end of the stage.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ* AutoBomb State is saved for future gameplay. 
ÂÂÂÂSaves are now incompatible with older versions.
ÂÂÂÂPlayer name is saved for future gameplay as Cyan suggested.

Barring gamebreaking bugs, this is mhy last update for SIDS. I'll work on a new DS homebrew though so staty tuned. ;*)


As requested, a New Ship and it plays a lot different than the other 2.
Auto-bombs only work on bullet and not enemy collisions.

BTW, try to load the "Loco Viper" replay to see an efficient use of the way the 3rd ship works.

Hahahaha. Nah, considering the depth of the compo, I'll be really surprised if I do get a prize. I like entering these type of contests though since it forces me to finish my projects.

The original seems to have been uploaded before categories came into place in that section so we wouldn't add this as a new version (as it'd request a category first), the existing files should be merged into a single entry when a filetrip mod gets to it.

Gotta' say I like the look of that source, from a glance it looks like it was meant to be re-used.

Level 2 is ok in my opinion.

XXLANCEXX: I'm a fan of Ikaruga myself. In fact, I've implemented the Ikaruga ex-lasers on one of the builds of this game but it borked the gameplay. ;*(. And being someone who hasn't played an actual ikaruga game(I only saw ikaruga through videos), I'd probably mess the sequel up.


Guys any bugs to report? Suggesions for bosses and bullet patterns, etc?

Thanks for the comments all. I'm amking some external tools to manange the enemy sequencing better.
