Hacking Softmod help: Black screen when launching. Please help.

Hi folks,

I was following a guide from a website to install Kmeaw's custom firmware: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/ho...un_homebrew.cfm

I followed it to the letter, only I decided to use Gaia Manager 2.07 instead of Rogero. I was able to install the custom firmware without any problems but whenever I try to run any of the package files (Gaia, Fix Permissions, BlackBox 1.2 Signed 3.41 and even Lv2 version 9 just in case), all I get is a black screen and I have to switch off my PS3. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I'm going to work, so I'll be back in about 5 hours, but I will reply to everyone who posts. Thanks again.

    It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
