So my R4i DS will absolutely not work on 3DS or R4 Wood? Because my M3i Zero won't work =(

You can't expect to receive help if you provide few details. It's sounds like your question is cut out of the middle of a conversation, not the start. There are hundreds of R4i cards, what's the exacy name of the card and website on the card? What's your 3DS firmware version?

M3i Zero seems to work with 3ds firmware 4.5 and lower only.

you have a R4i SDHC, but it can't work on 3DS and wood kernel, right?

Of course, R4i SDHC only for DSi , not for 3DS, you have to use R4i 3DS SDHC(red one);
and of course this card can't work with wood kernel, they r4i Gold 3DS can work with wood kernel.

please check the detail information before you order, or it is a waste of money
