Misc Slow matchmaking in legit brawl?

Is anyone else getting ridiculously slow, and error filled, basic brawl matchmaking? I cant even find 4 people. I opened all the necessary ports, set a manual Wii config, and all that stuff, so is it a problem with the service? Cause I can find 4 player spectator matches.

Yeah i just bought the retail version and i too can't conect online to matchmaking =/ but friendcodes work.
