    Upcoming sci-fi action RPG The Surge today reveals 14 minutes of gameplay with commentary from Deck13 Game Designer Adam Hetenyi:


    Below is the premise of the game:
    The Surge slices its way onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC in May 2017.

    I remember when this was announced, I thought it sounded like it was basically Sci-fi Dark Souls. Nice to see the gameplay mostly confirms that, I'll definitely be giving this a try at some point.

    Dark Souls is really starting to have a lasting impact on gaming industry trends. I wouldn't be surprised if the genre becomes the next CoD, eventually.
