Hello everyone.

Today I modded my friend's 3ds via the DSiWare exploit and something happened.
We thought the Monster Hunter Generations savegame was put into the cartridge just like the MH4U one, but seems like it's not the case ( for some f* reasons, thanks nintendo ), thankfully I backed up all of my friend's nintendo 3DS folder from the SD Card and now I have the correct encrypted save with me, the thing is that I cannot just replace it with the new one because it will say " The savegame is corrupted ", since on the nintendo 3ds folder from the SD there are now TWO different IDs, the one from the previous firmware and the new one

so the root at the moment is like

- Nintendo 3DS
| - 8e4f59f3bd0b93a528c02cf884abd02a ( new folder with wrong savegame )
| - 01884068a9abf56680e668da7c9a90d6 ( old folder with correct savegame )
| -- 9a9900eb4707bcd0534530340002544d
| --- dbs
| --- extdata
| ---- 00000000
| ----- 0000185b
| ------ 00000000
| ------- FILES called 00000001, 00000002, 00000003, 00000004, WITH NO EXTENSION.

Is there a way to decrypt those files so we can import them back and play again with the same savegames? it would be a shame to lose 120 hours :\

edit: sadly gbatemp's forum reformatted the whole post, but i think you can get how it is structured

If the nands are unlinked = use different folders, they also use different encryption keys, so you can't read the old save this way

You would need a nand backup from before the folder name changed!!
