Hi guys, I want to know if its possible decrypt the game and extract all the passwords, I think they are included into the game in some file because you can insert it without Internet, Right?

Thanks :)

The relevant file is called "PasswordDesc.bin", and it definitely does not store passwords in plaintext.

Maybe they're just encrypted or compressed in a way that makes it look like something other than plaintext?

Do not play the game, but this defenitly draws my attention.
Some of the passwords are known right?
it wouldn't be too hard to try ecery possibility if you know a password, right?

There might be tons of passwords. They might even have nothing to do with Pokemon, or might be randomly generated.
IMO that could be horrendously difficult.

The filename indicates 'password descriptor', which means it most likely stores the game commands for checking passwords' validity. The passwords themselves are most likely NOT in that file. Search elsewhere. I've modified Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force PSP titles before, and there is a file with that exact name in all of them! Moreover, that file serves the purpose I mentioned above: it tells the game to look for an input file at a certain address within another file, and searches for the password typed into the password box within it. If found, it reads a file (The file containing the data for the Pokemon you get as a gift for that password), copies data from it into memory, then shows the 'Pokemon Acquired' screen. I assume that they took Konami's code and adapted it to this game, since passwords are 8-digit numbers, just like Yu-Gi-Oh! card passwords.

And, done: http://pastebin.com/Xjt9niWC or http://i.imgur.com/gOqIeZh.jpg-- I was right, by the way, and passwords are in PasswordDesc.bin. Stored value = SHA1(SHA1(input_as_unicode_string));

Big thanks to Slashmolder, who wrote the brute forcer.

For those who prefer the passwords here:

    It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
