Well I don't see how store setting registry could cause you problems but glad to be of help anyway.
Goshogun- I haven't played that game but arranging the frameskip is a good way to solve the speed problem like 18wilddog said.

If you uncheck store settings in Registry, that means you will probably be using some defaults instead of your previous settings. If you use the export settings to INI, that means you will probably see the problem again. Maybe it is your battery file that is bad.

Just to let you guys know. The previous reported problems by me regarding 'store setting on registry' is not a bug. Somehow with some patience, I did fool around with the settings until it's now free or problems.

Yes I don't have any problems with Spiderman TM anymore.
