Love your work! Have you considered porting Quake 3? I'd donate some cash for the port! And I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one!

No audio for Wolfenstein?

Having a blast using the Quake I port! Looks like it just needs minor fixes like audio skips and some texture glitches. Otherwise a very nice port :)

Quake 3 is a pain in the ass to port, first of all cause it will require hardware GPU rendering (and PSVITA GPU API is not that simple to use) and secondarly cause it will need massive modifications since Quake 3 is built to have multiple executables and libraries (and this is not possible on PSVITA).

Sound will be added as soon as an SDL port for PSVITA will pop out.

Damn! As soon as I started seeing these ports I got so excited to see Q3. Shame it won't happen :(

It can happen but it will require tons of work. @elhobbs was working on a Q3 porting for 3DS. If he will ever finish his port, porting such port to PSVITA should be a lot easier.

I'm actually having issues getting the full version to work. I've dropped the ,wl6 files into /data/Wolfenstein 3D as instructed, but just get a C2-12828-1 error and a .psp2dmp file generated. Am I using an incorrect revision of the full version files?

No issues whatsoever with the shareware version, or with Spear of Destiny.

If you have skype and can add me (rinnegatamante1), i can send you a debug version to check what happened.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
