Released on Saturday April 29, 2017.
- Fixed a bug where going to the "Change Theme" option on the Home Menu after installing a theme with Themely would cause the theme to disappear;
- Use preview as icon if no SMDH is available;
- Warn if no DSP dump is available;
- Long descriptions are now truncated;

If you already have the app, you'll be prompted to update it within the app.​

So the theme cache will no longer become corrupted? Seems like I have found my new favorite theme installer.

I searched this thread for "shuffle" and "ten" and I didn't see anyone ask whether or not the eventual shuffle feature will be limited to ten themes.

Might I trouble you, sir Erman, to lift this limit? Pretty please?

It might be a Nintendo limit. The official theme shop supports 10. Home Menu supports 300 items. So you probably need custom Home Menu for 10+ support just like 300+.

Theme shuffle being limited to 10 themes is because of how the home menu itself functions. No custom theme application will be able to bypass this limit, the only way would be for someone to create a custom home menu that doesn't have the limit.

It would be great to be able to delete themes I don't like after I'm done prevewing them and finding old themes I don't want anymore. I could go to FBI and delete it that way, but it'd be easier to be able to delete them from Themely itself. With a confirmation popup in case someone presses the button by accident.

Colour me interested this seems a hell of a lot better than chmm 2 and I'll switch over to it when there's custom theme shuffling also have you thought about getting it to download themes straight from a theme website like chmm2 just a suggestion

Hello !
First, thank you so much for this. I really want to have custom themes and I almost became mad when I realised CHMM2 doesn't work for me, so learning you made Themely made me feel so happy !

But I really need help and I thought someone here could help me, which would be great (I had enough to waste time by trying to make it work, especially if it actually cannot work) !
I don't think this homebrew have a problem, I think it comes from my 3ds or maybe from my SD card's folders... so if it doesn't mean to be written here, I am really sorry, and I hope the answer isn't as obvious as a missing thing (which means I've disturbed you for nothing).
I just cannot make this homebrew work, regardless of my actions. First I tried to download the .3dsx version (I can't use CIA version because I've upgraded to 11.3 without any CFW and I'm scared to brick my 3ds by make a CTRTransfer) but I only had an “access denied” message. After a long search, I found on a German website (this one https://wiidatabase.de/3ds-downloads/3ds-tools/themely/) a “Themely.3dsx” file which seems correct, so I downloaded it. Then I put it on my 3ds folder, as I think I had to, and launched it in The Homebrew launcher but after a few usual things my bottom screen became red and my upper screen became glitchy. I take a pic so you can understand what I am talking about.

Of course, I waited before turning off the power, almost 10 minutes but nothing happened, and the only one way to get out of it is to turn off the power, nothing else works. Because I thought it was the hax I used (Soundhax) which has a problem, I retried to install it with Ninjhax but I still encounter this bug... I am quite desperate now, and I really need your help. I am sorry if this is absolutely not linked to Themely, but I believe you know a lot about homebrews so you could help me...

My 3ds is still in 11.3, it's European. The Homebrew Launcher is the only one thing I've installed on it. Here are screenshots of my SD card's files while running Ninjhax (I have a rom version of Ninjhax I launch with a Sky3ds+ linker).

Strange, if you're able to go into the HBL and see the Themely tile to launch in, then the file structure of your SD is correct.
Have you tried to replace this themely.3dsx by the 'official' one on this site http://app.3dsthem.es/release/latest/Themely.3dsx
Have you checked your SD's integrity with CHKDSK or another tool ? Try copying your SD's content to your PC, formatting with GUIFormat (set the cluster size to 32k) and copy the files back to the SD

If you already have CFW, use the .CIA version
