Hacking [Release] PlaiCDN: Download and create installable CIAs (or .3ds) with just a title ID and titlekey

As many times i tried every command i took: could not retrieve cdn data

Yes but what do you mean? I think i have all the required files (Python v2.7 and 3.4 installed and in the path) in the folder along with decTitlekeys.bin.

Have tried the above (used the decrypter keys right?)
These are example keys and not real:

Your .crt file is a .crt.txt and you have the file extension hidden. Fix it.

Same for me. Makerom.exe is for 64 bit windows and you are using x86. Makerom cannot build 3ds rom. We need makerom x86

Same thing, ctrtool.exe in the pack is x64 too. I think Makerom is for cia and ctrtool is for 3ds. Both are builds for x64 windows

This is working too but the new makerom is better and has many fixes. I tried to build it from the source with visual studio 2015 but have errors

it also can do cia, but not recommened for eshop content.

I agree make_cdn_cia looks better for such cases. I think all this downloader tools would be better to use the same ctr tools. I had many issues with QuenoPack 3DS to CIA every time was trying to convert a 3ds to cia because of makerom errors (latest build seems to work but it is early to say). What database every tools uses (encTitleKeys.bin or decTitleKeys.bin) does not concern me because keys from this database site seem at least filtered and good. It could be better though someone could explain better the results like: if the cia builded from eg plaicdn (which uses makecia and decrypted key and better remake of an old code) is the same quality with this one created by Funkeycia (which uses make_cdn_cia and a new code) with no further arguments just theoritically explain

Assuming that you're running Windows, you need to run it from a command prompt via CMD.EXE as it doesn't have a GUI built-in.

May I ask why you want this? It's no longer in development and has been superseded by a lot of newer tools.

This is useful for me to make a backup copies of some rare japanese games boughted by me in eShop. And I thought it was nice to have the latest version of this program, so thank you.

check out cdn-fx it's a nice gui tool with similar function to this but it has a database for iding games and can batch download and make cia files for selected titles from your whole 3ds library
