Hi, what are main differences between normal and mod version of PFBA? You know where an image-preview pack can be downloaded?

My favourite: Hyper street fighter 2 anniversary works great, thanks @cpasjuste :)

Is there a link to compatible roms in a list? (On pc not within the app please)

I have full sets on my recalbox, but I would just like to cherry pick compatible roms for on the go with vita.

    Many thanks in advance!

You would have done first to write "mod has neogeo support" instead of "google can help you"

@cpasjuste @rsn8887 All games by Sega enters in the hardest difficulty and can't be changed. The games I tested was alien storm, super hang on, out run, golden axe and altered beast.

Hello wanted to report a bug of sort when transferring zipped roms. If i use ftp to transfer zipped roms everything is fine but of course slow. If i decide to use a usb adapter to do the same thing the files transfer as they do but with a strange aftermath. Once the sd card is placed back in the pstv or a ps vita the games won't show even if you set it to all. I go into vitashell to see why and i noticed that for some reason the zipped file texts are all in caps and when i rename it back with low case letters the games show back up on the menu. For those always scratching their heads why they can't get roms to work this may be one of the main issues to fix your problems. This only occurs with pfba as ra doesn't do this. Love the emulator by the way!

it happens with other non-sega games also. I've tried "Toki" and it starts at hardest difficulty. neogeo games start in free mode but at level-4 difficulty. there's no way to have access to dispwitches like in mame. i'd like to change some option like to add blood in metals slug games.

You can access the dip switches in neogeo games. I'm not sure if the settings save after leaving the game, though...

I use an sd adapter on my macbook air and they transfer lowercase.

What I wonder is how PFBA recognizes artwork? I use the libretro thumbnails and pfba doesn't recognize most of the artwork while retroarch shows them all. Is there any way to change the code for that or where to find another source for the artwork?

Info is in the first post.

Select + Square after you've loaded the rom.

The sound seems kind of choppy/stuttery for me on all games I tried, is there something I am doing wrong or some setting that needs changing?

Well you can do the ad-hoc portable multiplayer games, just not with PFBA. Just use the NJEMU version 2.3.5 emulators (CPS1PSP, CPS2PSP, MVSPSP) in Adrenaline. They support ad-hoc network mode just fine, even on the Vita. It works great. I tested it yesterday between a Vita and a PSP. It might also be possible to use Retroarch's Netplay mode for ad-hoc portable play. Has anyone tried it?

Use the rom filenames for previews, e.g. ux0:/data/pfba/previews/1942kai.png . Use .png images. I never tested other image formats.

i found a bug trying to play mega drive games; you must rename them with the prefix md_ at the start of the filename to be detected by pfba BUT it still search for the rom without prefix for the files, so yea; you must have two copies of the same rom one with md_ and other without it, for example: sor2.zip and md_sor2.zip on the roms folder for it to load, and yet- it crash with error C2-12828-1 when trying to load any mega drive game so yea, btw i am using the rsn8887 mod version tho

edit: just filled the bug report here "github com rsn8887 pfba issues 1" tho
