Amazing work! So happy to see a new tool for this game.
First, most of the the life-starter weapons (and possibly a few pieces of Origin Island equipment) fail the search (crash the game)
Second, weapon/tool/armor stats are 4 bytes, not 2. It's a floating decimal (float) value. IE: 4478 would be 992 but to hit 993 you need the second pair of bytes (4478 = 993)
Yep, floating point have already been added in 2.1.
As for the search failing, I do what I can, but without adding all the ID's of the item (which I won't cause to many), 100% of success is impossible.
But it shouldn't crash the game, I'll see what went wrong.
as for the crashes. I think I'm still on the 1.X plugin (the novice bow crashes the game on this version).
I could compile the lists of each item type's IDs if need be (including a 'reject' ID list to exclude any broken/'unknown' items from being create-able). They're mostly contiguous ranges, anyway. An alternate method could be a slightly more open ended search-by-ID option. That would allow editing food items, too (suggest only ID and quantity editing for non-equipment items. Quality settings for items like furniture aren't worth it).
Hmm, for now I'm not interested in adding a full list of item but thanks for the help.
I'll see for the search by id, it could be a good idea actually, didn't thought of that.
keep in mind various items will occasionally have more than one entry (IE: crafting two of the same hat or gaining two stacks of a particular food item), so a "find next" might also help with that open ended ID search. Note that everything can be moved to/from storage and the game doesn't actually delete the item from a slot. The only way deposited inventory item IDs 'disappear' from the inventory listing is when they're replaced by an item moved to the inventory from storage, so it might help to add that as a note on the code.
idk if this happen to others but my game always crashes whenever I try to edit any of my items under accessories
Hello to everyone , I am really bad at doing staff like this and last time I tried to install puma CFW I bricked my 3ds , so I am asking is there anyone who would play with me and give me a high damage weapon , or that doesn't work ?

i am starting a new life as a mercenary so a claymore with a lot of damage (like a lot a lot of damage ) and a weapon that can be used with all lives and again a lot of damage on it , sorry if my English is bad , and you are the best if u can actually do this later
Does this work online too?
Yes it works online
No problem write me a PM for FC and the time i can bring the weapons.
I will wright u in like 3 days cuz I ordered a new 3ds yesterday (my old one got bricked )and it's takes like 2-3 days to ship
keep in mind damage caps at 999 (unless you use a creator skill with "special skill damage +" enchanted equipment, at which point each instance of that enchant gives +10% damage per hit) no matter how high you set the damage. also beware its a signed value (and not a true float). going too high will yield a negative value and make the item useless (though they sometimes have fun effects on the camera, like my -36000 sewing needle that spazzed the camera [repeatedly inverted and zoomed in/out] when used)
PSA: The most fun enchantments are:
1.) Red chest drops x2 (gives +1 drop for each enchant. Maximum is 6 on the field for the rarer red-bag items 9game de-spawns older items if not picked up), so use 5 tools with the enchant - or 3 plus the treasure gloves with the effect added as an enchant too),
2.) Attack ++ (unarmed) (three of this effect will max out punches at 999 average damage, not accounting for the damage jitter [which results in about 20% higher or lower damage about half the time each - the higher damage isn't visible since the hard cap is 999 damage]. Any more copies of the effect will not increase damage any more or make the lower damage hits occur less often.), and
3.) Skill Charge Rate x2 (you can craft stuff stupid fast. with ~4-5 coppies, you can use creator crafting on creator recipies after 1-2 stages of the minigame. For weapons, ~4-5 copies will let your Creator attack auto-charge just as fast as it takes to use it when in Creator mode [will take a few hits to charge up normally to creator, but still will be fast])
So what's the highest damage weapon I can get through multiplayer ?
Just a quick question. I have set up BootNTR Selecter, Selected NTR 3.3, and I get the green flash when I open the game. What I am not getting is the Fantasy Life cheat menu, I have loaded the save file, waited til it loads in-game, and it does not seem to work for me. I am using a AUS N3DS with the EUR / AUS version of Fantasy Life (Title ID 0004000000113100). Is there a way this could be fixed? I would like to use this cheat file, but if it doesn't work, then I understand.
it doesn't always take the press the firts time. Try pressing X+Y to make sure NTR is indeed active (I have had it bug out on me on occasion), but also try holding down select for a second or two. if the game seems to pause, you can press D-pad up/down to 'refresh' the screen in case the display just doesnt show up.
2.1 plugin still named the 2.0 plugin in the zip (not all that important, but lol)
Can 'select' accessory items, but edits dont take. Also attempting to target bows as an equipped weapon crashes the game/plugin.
In the 'sorted' lists (I assume they were sorted via script):
0x04D3, "Tree Stump & Axe" is not an axe: its furniture. same with 0x04D2, "Wonderful Bow Stand" being furniture
Similarly anything with cape in the name shows up under the cap list
I'll manually sort everything later to make it easy to reference (and potentially easy to import into a search/text entry tool as part of the plugin)
