What happens if you try to use the R4i Neo Kernel?

not sure since it doesn't support sdhc and I only have that. My plan was to find the kernel and buy a regular micro sd card but since I never found the kernel I never bought the regular micro sd

Not pretty sure as I don't have a 3DS and know nothing about it. It could be that your cart simply doesn't support the latest 3DS version as they stopped supporting it.

the console doesn't show up the "an error ocurred" screen when trying to boot the card
therefore, the card is working normally as it would in another console like an original DS... (I.E. this is not a 3ds with a high firmware problem)

@migles need to visit a dead website? do you need to download a file that you thought it's lost?
try https://archive.org/web/ loads of people found the dead links for their shitty r4 cards there. but please, if you get the files, please share them at gbatemp, or ask someone to keep it (for example in filetrip) so theese files are not lost forever... so can you perhaps help me find the original r4 neo not r4i neo kernel?
