As title suggests, I'm looking for some advice on the best place to buy these cards, the site I used previously has totally changed and removed flashcarts from it's stock. (http://www.v2watch.com)

I've spent hours surfing the web looking for a comparable site, but the price of this cart seems to have rocketed! I previously paid £6 each for them (That was after a discount for buying 5 at a time), but the cheapest i can find now is £11.99.

One site i discovered selling them at $9.99 has paypal issues so can;t take payments, so that's left me totally stuck.

I've tried consulting shop-temp, but the site seems to be having problems and directs me to a white page with a broken MYSQL whenever i try to navigate around it

If anyone knows of a site that does the carts preferably less than £10 each and legit, i'd be very grateful

I'm not fussy about it having 4.5 capability or RTS, the standard R4i SDHC 3DS is fine

Thanks for you time

Dale

Don't buy those even if you're happy with the feature set, because they make carts without enough space on purpose (it's been like six hardware revisions, they know what they're doing by now) in order to get people to buy more, which is a pretty underhanded tactic we don't condone here.

If you buy a cart that's not on that list and come complain that it's not working, we're just going to laugh at you.

I'm not entirely sure what you are getting at here. The cards don't have enough space? I've been using them with 2GB microsd cards and fitting 40 games on no problem. The only reason I was looking to buy them again is because I've had no issues with them whatsoever so I apologize for my ignorance, laugh at me if it makes you feel better.

Nowhere in my first post did i ask for help getting the cards working or complain so don't know why you brought that up either but thanks for the link regardless.

Internal space, not MicroSD, and the internal space is what holds the data to bypass DSi/3DS updates. They're making carts without enough space to update more than once or twice on purpose so that people who update their DSi/3DS units have to buy another cart. That's a total asshole move on their part and makes them a very untrustworthy team, which is why we say not to buy them.

Thank you, that explained it clearly, I wasn't aware that R4 did this, probably because I never update my DS and have never seen reason to so all my carts work fine. I notice that R4i gold is listed in your linked ropic , I gather that R4 is an exception?

That's one of the few carts that does their best to give updates when possible. A few of their older models don't work anymore, and there was a bad batch, once, but they at least try (which is more than can be said for most teams).

As an example, the AK2i used to be up there because the team gave updates as well too, but then they ran out of space (they were one of the oldest DSi-compatible carts) and never made another model, which is why they were taken down (since no more updates are going to come out and they haven't announced a new hardware model).
