Hacking r4i 3ds (the green one)

i have a dsi and i actually played with the card already.

then i updated it with this site http://ndsill.net/ using this update


[2011-12-12] 3DS V3.0.0-5i upgrade package will be updated


now it says in the dsi "there is nothing inserted in the game card slot"
(its not about the paper trick; i already know that)

is my r4i broken or only compatible with 3ds or do i have to buy a new one ((((

you can still save your r4i assuming you have

a DSphat/lite, and another working flashcart, and a good working firmware update file. i have mine, but i had it pre-flashed so... maybe i should have ordered it with the firmware/kernel files, but i opted out of it. anyways, with the current firmware, it shows a Prince Caspian DS game.
