hi i am asking to download DLC, do I need to complete the game first before i can use the DLC? Or can I download the DLC and play the game from the start? Thank you in advance !

You can install as you like.

Only real rule is to never go to the in-game shop as this will invalidate the dlc.

Maybe you can try to uninstall the DLC (?)
I don't know if possible...
