Gaming Question Regarding Shard Of Agony Resonation In Kokiri Forest

Yeah so I've been wondering for a long time now, why does the Shard Of Agony resonate in Kokiri Forest?? Well to put it properly, I already know that it resonates when near a secret hole.

Location:- Near the entrance to Lost Woods (Beside the Gossip Stone)
I've tried bombing the hole out, but to no avail, does it resonate for some other reason?? If anyone knows, please do answer.

Try playing song of storms

Try to use the Hammer as Adult Link or the song of Storms near the hole.

(one of both should work)

Yes this also works for other holes.
