So when I was installing cIOS's a while back to play backups off of USB and junk, I think I screwed up along the way and my vWii is pretty unstable. It works and I can play back ups just fine but freezes randomly all the time. So I would like to get a fresh start, I dont even really play the backups much anyway.

So I have a few questions. Will just formatting it via system settings remove the cIOS's and reset everything just fine? Do I need to use a homebrew program to uninstall them? I dont even remember what cIOS's I have installed, am I out of luck?

Thanks guys!

Formatting won't touch IOS.

You'll need to extract the WADs for each IOS from your NAND backup and install them through a WAD manager. Probably best to run syschecks to see what actually is installed.
